I'm Melissa Hartzel, a certified wellness coach, beauty lecturer and former celebrity make-up artist. I help my clients achieve their full potential by addressing the interconnected factors of their daily life, including diet, lifestyle, emotional wellbeing, career, relationships and skin care. My integrative approach empowers clients to make sustainable changes for lasting wellbeing.

With over three decades of experience as a beauty and make-up professional, I’ve worked across all areas of the media, collaborating with clients in fashion, lifestyle, editorial, television and film. I trained at the Italia Conti Theatre School as a child, and still enjoy working in front of the camera. Alongside my coaching work, I create holistic wellness content and regularly appear on television and at live events as a beauty expert. I’m deeply passionate about every aspect of my work and feel grateful to have enjoyed such a varied and exciting career to date.

 

Notable screen roles include being part of the hit Channel 4 consumer series 'Shop Secrets: Tricks of the Trade', going undercover in a high street beauty salon to investigate beauty industry scams, guest presenting beauty segments on some of the UK's favourite shopping channels, and having the hilarious opportunity of going undercover for E4 as a massage therapist in the hidden camera comedy prank show 'iCon'. I have also worked as a spokesperson for brands such as Rimmel, NYX and Makebelieve and worked alongside Ed Sheeran as a parody presenter in his music video 'Anti-Social'.
